I remember the first time I went in to a boudoir photoshoot. I had the most sultry make-up, the sexiest outfits, and I had NO idea how to pose.
While I had fun, I felt so uncomfortable and overwhelmed during the shoot. I didn’t know what to do with my hands, or my body. Empowerment was the last thing I was feeling.

It felt so uneasy and not quite right, and for that EXACT reason, my Empowerment Photography Sessions were created.

Any Pose is a Perfect Empowerment Pose

Being uncomfortable for any photoshoot is a sure way to not only hate the entire process but also to not love your final photo products at the end.

When you come to The Haven Studio, we don’t just offer suggestions on what to do with your hands, WE SHOW YOU. I will get on the floor, literally, and pose with you.
II will work with you until you find a pose you feel comfortable in. We will adjust, we will pivot, we will work to find a pose that not only makes you feel sexy but of course, EMPOWERS you.

When we feel like we have nailed down the perfect pose and YOU feel comfortable in that position, and then I get to work by snapping the perfect shot.

Once I feel I have captured that pose in the best way for you and your comfort zone, we sit down and look at the photos. If you don’t love them, we go back to the drawing board and find a pose that better suits you. If you love them, we do a little happy dance and move on to our next pose. Starting again from the top.

One thing I pride myself in as a photographer is not only the relationship and the experience I get to share with my amazing clients; it’s the details that go in to making an Empowerment Shoot what it is.

This experience is a one of a kind, it should give you the type of inner hype you deserve, it should leave you feeling the most beautiful you have EVER felt.

At the end of our session together, we will sit down and look at your photos together. We will go over what you love and what you love even more. You will get to leave the studio KNOWING and seeing the gorgeous content we just created together instead of having to question if it went well enough or having to have a “wait and see” mentality.

Empowerment First, The Rest Will Follow.

Feeling Empowered from the moment you enter our studio until well after you leave is ALL you need to bring with you to your scheduled photoshoot. If you feel good, your photos will look even better. If you feel confident in your outfit selections you will SLAY your posing, if you feel on top of the world, your gallery at the end of the day is going to be pure fire.

I don’t expect you to bring anything with you but an open mind and the love you deserve to give yourself. The rest, we will curate together.
